As part of NSW Small Business Month, the City of Ryde hosted a landmark event bringing together representatives from five local business chambers in a powerful show of support for small enterprises across the region.
The event highlighted the importance of chamber collaboration, community engagement, and access to resources for local entrepreneurs. Representatives from the NSW Government’s Small Business Commission and Procurement Divisionalso attended, providing valuable insights into government support programs and procurement opportunities.
Throughout the day, speakers and local leaders shared inspiring success stories, business resilience strategies, and funding pathways available to SMEs. The event also offered networking opportunities for small business owners to connect with local decision-makers, fostering relationships that will help grow Ryde’s economic ecosystem.
Members of the Eastwood Chinatown project team were present, showcasing the growing cultural and commercial integration within the Ryde business community. This collaborative spirit was praised by council officials as a key driver of sustainable local development.
The joint event served not only to honour the efforts of small business owners but also to reinforce the role of local chambers as essential partners in economic recovery and community progress.
