Eastwood Street Walk: Supporting Local Businesses with NSW Small Business Concierge

June 15, 20251 min read

As part of continued engagement with the local business community, representatives from Eastwood Chinatown and the NSW Service Concierge for Small Business conducted a street walk and listening session with business owners in the Eastwood Centre.

The informal yet impactful visit provided an opportunity for small retailers, hospitality operators, and service providers to share their current challenges and future aspirations directly with government representatives and project leaders.

Key topics discussed included:

  • Local infrastructure improvements

  • Grant access and government support

  • Marketing and visibility for small businesses

  • Integration opportunities within the Chinatown Eastwood development

This initiative underscores the NSW Government’s commitment to making support more accessible and personalised for small businesses—right where they operate.

The visit also demonstrated the active role community leaders and organisations like 145CT Association are playing in ensuring the Eastwood business district thrives through collaboration, advocacy, and cultural revitalisation.
